We have to practically fight with you to get you to see Matthew, the rest of them wanted to see him 2-3 times a week. Unbelievable. We have total confidence in whatever you recommend, and I can’t begin to tell you how much of a burden you have lifted from our lives. Thank you so much…

Our son is a “sensitive system” child. Diane suggested many small things we could do, adjustments we could make to our son’s environment, which made a world of difference. She makes suggestions, “A-B-C,” and if you don’t feel comfortable with them she can come back with “D-E-F” until a solution is found which works for the whole family. She’s also very fun to work with! 

Diane has been extraordinarily helpful time and time again in supporting us with extremely difficult problems – she’s very positive, practical and says “here’s what you need to do” – she’s non-judgmental, enthusiastic, very up-to-date on current research and thinking about kids with issues and problems. She plays a different role than a therapist and we keep going back to her. With Diane on your side you feel that you’ll be able to work things out . . . nothing shocks her.

Glenn and I came away from our meeting with you with good feelings and lots of ideas! What a valuable service you offer parents. We feel you were able to supply us with some new tools in order to be more successful people and parents.  

We have children with developmental issues . . . our biggest fear was finding adequate programs and therapy . . . fortunately, we were introduced to Diane, who put together comprehensive programs for both boys almost overnight . . . I could talk for hours, literally, about Diane. It is impossible to condense it to “a few words.” Of the many wonderful skills of hers is a sense of perspective – she can take all of the parental anxiety and drama from you and give back a clearer, brighter picture. And she does this with great humor, which allows me to relax, breathe and say “OK, this is the situation, somebody has been here before our family and it can be resolved.” As for our son, he considers her one of the kids – she’s fun and safe to be yourself with. 

Diane is absolutely incredible. In two hours we learned more about our child than we thought possible. Her positive approach to understanding tough parenting issues is outstanding. Chandler loved you from the minute he met you. There seemed to be an instant bonding! Your presence brought out a tremendous sparkle in Chandler that only a few know how to get to. Through you he learned to laugh, to sing, to play, to have the most fun ever! You will always have a special place in our hearts, Diane. 

I want to thank you for all your help with Max. It is not easy parenting a child with his kind of temperament and special needs. Max is making slow forward progress and you are a big part of making that happen. Having your help, guidance and support has been more helpful than you can imagine. Pinpointing his needs and finding the right help is a daunting task. Your help in this area has been priceless. You are a true professional in every sense of the word. It is obvious to me as a parent that you have the child’s best interest at heart. Thanks for making yourself available to us. Steve and I are forever grateful. 

Diane’s keen insights into our son’s behavior helped him avoid serious behavior problems at home and school. With the first signs of an ADD affliction, she helped us with a thoughtful program of diversionary tactics together with a rewards-based behavior modification plan. Once we implemented her ideas on a consistent basis, we noticed a tremendous change in our son’s tantrums and out of control behavior. He was calmer, the tantrums were shorter, and he was able to focus his attention on the positive side. Also, Diane is a great person, hysterically funny, and we love her! 

We have been given endless great advice on everyday issues to allow calmness in our family of six. Diane’s input is invaluable and her thoughts toward every issue are right on target.
